Lali, a two-faced baby, born last March 10 in Saini, Sunpura, India is believed to be the reincarnation of Hindu god Durga, goddess of valor. Local village flocked to Lali's house and worshipped her offering money, dancing and singing. They touch her and pray to her believing the two-faced baby could give them healing energy and abundance to their needs. Lali's parents were married in February 2007 and the baby is their first child. Doctors at New Delhi hospital said Lali's rare condition is known as craniofacian duplication. They suggested that the baby undergo a CT scan to determine if her internal organs are functioning normally.
